As a COBAT-certified collection point, TRS ensures:
- the collection, transport and delivery of spent lead-acid batteries to consortium facilities that recover metallic lead and sulphuric acid;
- the collection and transport of waste electrical and electronic equipment;
- the collection and transport of used tyres.
Today, almost all components of lead-acid batteries, electrical and electronic equipment and used tyres can be reused, preventing the release of hazardous substances into the environment, which could severely disrupt ecosystem balance.
